Set Down the Weight You've Been Carrying

A 7-Day Stress-Relief Therapy

Stress rarely arrives all at once. It gathers quietly — in shallow sleep, a restless mind, a body that never quite stands down. Over seven unhurried days, this therapy helps you exhale the accumulated tension, settle the nervous system, and remember what it feels like to be calm, clear, and rested.

Who Is It For?

This therapy is for you if stress has quietly become your baseline. You may recognise a few of these:

  • You feel persistently anxious, wired, or mentally fatigued.
  • Sleep is broken or hard to come by, and rest doesn't fully restore you.
  • You carry tension headaches, a tight chest, or a body that won't switch off.
  • You're recovering from a demanding season — at work or in life — and need to truly reset.

In Ayurveda, this is often seen as an aggravated Vata state — the restless, ungrounded quality that builds under chronic strain. Our Ayurveda doctors (Vaidyas) begin with a consultation, so the week is shaped around your constitution (Prakriti) and how you're genuinely feeling.

What You Will Gain

  • A Settled Nervous System: Warm-oil therapies and slow breathing help ease the body out of "fight or flight" into genuine calm.
  • Deeper, Steadier Sleep: As the mind quietens, many guests find sleep returns more easily and feels more restorative.
  • Relief from Mental Fatigue: Space, stillness, and guided practice help lift the fog and sharpen focus.
  • Emotional Steadiness: A gentler inner weather — less reactive, more grounded.
  • A Toolkit to Take Home: Simple breath and routine practices to keep stress from quietly building again.

Ayurveda works gently and individually; this is a supportive, calming reset rather than a medical treatment, and we'll always be honest with you about what a week of rest can offer.

Your Treatments

Your therapies are chosen for you by our Vaidyas, drawn from Kerala's classical calming practices. They typically include:

  • Abhyanga (warm herbal-oil massage): A full-body massage with dosha-appropriate oils, worked in with slow, rhythmic strokes to calm the nervous system and release held tension.
  • Shirodhara (the flow of oil over the brow): A steady, warm stream of herbal oil poured gently across the forehead — deeply quieting, and often the heart of a stress-relief stay.
  • Calming Herbs: Oils and preparations traditionally infused with Brahmi, Ashwagandha, and Jatamansi, long used to steady the mind.
  • Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation: Gentle movement and breath-work to anchor the calm into the body.
  • A Sattvic Table: Light, nourishing meals that are easy on the system and gentle on the mind.

What Your Days Might Look Like

Nothing here is rushed. A typical day leaves room to breathe between each part:

  • Morning: Wake gently, gather for yoga and meditation, then a nourishing breakfast and herbal tea.
  • Midday: Your prescribed therapy — Abhyanga and Shirodhara — followed by rest, and a light, sattvic lunch.
  • Afternoon: Unhurried time to rest, read, walk the gardens, or swim.
  • Evening: A calming breathing practice or quiet reflection, an early dinner, and rest aligned with the body's natural rhythms.

Across seven days, the rhythm itself becomes the medicine — a steady invitation to slow down, soften, and let the weight fall away.
