A Sanctuary for Renewal, For Women

A 3.5 Day Silent Experience

Pause. Reconnect. Rise.

Women often carry layers of responsibility—professional, familial, emotional—while leaving their own needs unmet. The Women’s Retreat at Amrutham is designed as a sanctuary where you can lay those burdens down, even if just for a few days, and reclaim space for yourself.

Over 3.5 days, through guided practices, Ayurveda-informed care, and heartfelt community, you will reconnect with your body, restore your energy, and remember your own strength. This is not indulgence—it is a reset, a chance to return home to yourself.

Is This Retreat Right for You?

Our Women's Retreat is designed keeping in mind individuals who:

  1. Are often women in their mid 30s to late 50s – at a life crossroads, attempting to make that crucial life-transition. More purposeful and more intentional.
  2. Women who have been giving a lot of themselves (to careers, families, communities) and need a space to “reclaim their power” and clarity.
  3. The retreat program is also relevant for those women interested in spirituality with a practical bent – you don’t have to be “woo-woo” to find meaning or even enjoy it, as it is rooted in India’s time-tested ancient traditions and aligned with modern, evidence-based practices, in behavioural psychology
  4. Prepared for deep and seeking to examine tools and framework in a “secure space” to Reset and Recalibrate
  5. Seek Active Ownership of their Well-Being and are prepared to integrate small, sustainable lifestyle shifts.
  6. Prefer Intimacy over Scale—a close-knit group that fosters genuine connection, trust, and shared growth.
  7. Agree to Honor Silence and Presence—participants take a Vow of Silence for the duration of the retreat and unplug fully from digital devices, creating the conditions for deep reflection and developing inner clarity.

This program is NOT a casual escape or spa weekend. It is an Intentional Journey of Inner Renewal, designed to provide tools you can carry into daily life long after you depart. If you are ready to invest in your inner balance and purpose with sincerity, we warmly invite you to join us.

Your Journey Through the Women’s Retreat (3.5 Days)

Thursday - Crossing the Threshold

You arrive at Amrutham in the late afternoon. As you settle in, the outer world begins to fade. There’s a gentle orientation, an introduction to the vow of silence, and a moment to set your intention. By evening, devices are set aside, conversations soften, and the retreat container is sealed. An intentional meditation session followed by an introduction to envisioning a newer version of yourself sets the tone for your immersion into yourself and the program. A silent Mehandi ceremony celebrates sisterhood and sets you on the beautiful journey of rediscovery. You go to bed early, knowing the days ahead are designed for immersion, clarity, and restoration.

Friday - Entering the Silence

At dawn, the sound of the gong awakens you. The morning unfolds with guided meditation and yoga, setting a rhythm of awareness that will carry you through the day. After a nourishing Ayurvedic breakfast, theory and practical sessions weave together ancient philosophy and modern science—helping you understand both the “why” and “how” of the practices.
The day balances depth with ease: immersive group sessions, reflective personal time, mindful meals, and restorative breaks. The schedule also allows for brief consultation with a BAMS licensed senior Ayurvedic physician who will design a Treatment protocol that will be followed by certified therapists in providing soothing treatments to enable your journey of reset and recalibration. A mindful time in the pool elevates your being and maybe you are already starting to feel a tad lighter, than when you arrived. As dusk approaches, you gather in silence for guided reflection and gentle practices that prepare body and mind for rest. Lights go out by 9:30 pm, aligning you with the body’s natural cycles.

Saturday - Deepening the Practice

Again, the gong calls you into the stillness of morning. By now, silence feels less like a requirement and more like a gift. Meditation deepens; breathwork and movement release what no longer serves.
Midday brings teaching sessions and experiential exercises, giving you tools to understand habit change, emotional balance, and resilience. Ayurvedic therapies that were incorporated on Friday, deepen, to further cleanse and nourish you, supporting the inner work with embodied healing. A session on cuisine that shares interesting recipes which you can apply at home to nourish yourself and your loved ones, will be shared
fostering closer bonding. Scientifically validated tests will provide deeper insights into our minds and temperaments. In the evening, the community gathers—still in silence—for a circle of reflection, but this time at the beautiful beach nearby, watching the orange sun set behind the vast ocean horizon. You feel both held and spacious, part of something intimate yet deeply personal. The day closes with practices that ease you into profound rest.

Sunday -  Integration and Renewal

On the final day, silence continues to hold you, but there’s a gentle shift toward integration. Morning practices bring clarity, followed by sessions that help you design your own daily blueprint: sustainable routines for mornings, meals, and evenings, anchored in the ACE framework—Awareness, Contentment, Equanimity. A framework that you will diligently apply in your daily life to ensure a sustained recalibration. Before departure, digital devices are returned, and resolutions are set. The retreat concludes not with an ending, but with a beginning: you leave with a lighter body, a clearer mind, and a toolkit for living with steadiness and purpose.

Post-Departure Follow Up

One week post departure, a personalized wellness report with recommended interventions are sent confidentially. A virtual meeting is scheduled to discuss the implications of the report and also to gently retain the sense of alumni and purpose.

Intensity with Care: The days are full, yet thoughtfully paced with breaks, modifications and support. You’re invited to bring your full presence; we’ll meet you with guidance and warmth.
