What is the check-in and check-out time?

Check-in is at 10:00 AM and check-out is also at 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged based on availability (additional charges may apply).

What languages are spoken at the resort?

Our team is conversant in English, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada.

Where is Amruthamgamaya located?

We are nestled in a serene hamlet near Kovalam, Kerala, just 7 miles (approx. 20 minutes) from Trivandrum International Airport.

Do you offer transportation from airports and bus or train stations?

Do you allow groups to buy out Amrutham for private functions?

How is tipping handled at Amrutham?

Our team is dedicated to providing you with an unforgettable experience, and their efforts are not dependent on additional tipping. Should you feel inspired to show your appreciation, such gestures are warmly received.

Wellness & Ayurveda

Are treatments supervised by qualified professionals?

Yes. All Ayurveda therapies are administered under the guidance of qualified Ayurvedic physicians and experienced therapists, in compliance with Kerala’s Ayurveda Health Centres Act, 2007.

Do I need a prior health consultation before treatments?

Yes. Every guest undergoes an initial consultation with our Ayurveda doctor to customize therapies according to their body constitution and wellness goals.

Are treatments authentic and certified?

We operate in line with Kerala Tourism’s “Ayur Silver/Gold/Diamond” classification standards (formerly Green Leaf/Olive Leaf) and AYUSH guidelines.

How many rooms does the retreat have?

We are an intimate boutique property with just 8 generously sized rooms and suites, ensuring personalized care and privacy.

What amenities are included in the rooms?

We have AC and non-AC rooms equipped with ensuite bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and complimentary toiletries.

What facilities are available on the property?

Facilities include a yoga studio, meditation centre, Ayurveda therapy rooms, a rooftop dining space, and a swimming pool overlooking lush greenery.

What Boarding options do you provide?

Occupancy: Single & Double

Boarding:

  • Breakfast Only: Includes room rent, services and breakfast.
  • Modified American Plan / Half Board (MAP-HB): Includes room rent, services and two meals a day
  • American Plan / Full Board (AP-FB): Includes room rent, services and three meals a day

Dining & Nutrition

What kind of food is served?

Our rooftop diner serves predominantly Ayurvedic vegetarian cuisine, designed to complement treatments. We accommodate common dietary preferences and restrictions.

Is alcohol or smoking allowed?

In keeping with Ayurveda and wellness principles, alcohol and smoking are not permitted on the premises

Are children allowed?

To maintain a tranquil environment, the retreat is best suited for adults seeking wellness. Families may be accommodated on request, subject to program suitability.

Are pets allowed?

For hygiene and safety reasons, pets are not permitted on the property.

Can I use my credit card?

We accept all major credit cards, except American Express.

Safety & Compliance

How do you ensure guest safety?

The property complies with Kerala Fire & Rescue norms (fire safety systems), Panchayat trade licenses, FSSAI food safety standards, and Pollution Control Board guidelines.

What Information do We Collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site or make a booking. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name or e-mail address. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

Do We Disclose Any Information to Outside Parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Guests may enjoy yoga, meditation, swimming, nature walks, day picnics, boat rides, and guided visits to nearby attractions like Vellayani Lake and Kovalam Beach.
